How do I install Forme on iPhone (iOS)?
Forme is currently in beta on iOS via TestFlight. Here is how to get it:
- Tap the iOS download button on this page, or go to testflight.apple.com/join/mw6bvbe5
- If you do not have TestFlight installed, you will be taken to the App Store to download it first. TestFlight is Apple's official beta testing app and is free.
- Once TestFlight is installed, tap the link again. It will open TestFlight and show Forme.
- Tap "Accept" and then "Install". Forme will appear on your home screen.
- Open Forme and create your account.

How do I install Forme on Android?
Forme is available for Android as a direct download (APK file). Because it is not on the Play Store yet, you need to allow your phone to install apps from outside the Play Store. Here is how:
- Tap the Android download button on this page. The file (forme.apk) will download to your phone.
- Once downloaded, open the file. You may see a warning that says "Install unknown apps" or "Allow from this source".
- Tap "Settings" on the warning and toggle on "Allow from this source". Then go back and tap "Install".
- On some phones (Samsung, etc.) you go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, find your browser, and enable it.
- Tap "Install" and wait a few seconds. Forme will appear in your app drawer.
- Open Forme and create your account.
This is completely safe. You are only enabling installs from the Forme website, not from everywhere. If you get stuck, email hello@formeapp.io.
How much does Forme cost?
Forme is in beta and currently free to use. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or ads today. We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, we'll give notice in the app and by email and provide a way to export your data before any change.
Who can see my commitments?
You decide for each commitment. Share with everyone, with your Close Friends, or keep it private. New commitments default to Public.
Can I edit or delete a check-in?
Yes. Tap the "•••" on any of your check-ins and choose Edit or Delete. Deletes are permanent and remove it for everyone who could see it.
I forgot my password.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter the email on your account. We'll send a reset link that's valid for 60 minutes.
How do I change my email address?
Profile → Settings → Account → Email. You'll need to confirm the new address before the change takes effect.
Report abusive content or a user.
Tap the “•••” on the check-in or profile and choose Report. Tell us what’s wrong; we review every report within 24 hours and take action. You can also block any user instantly from their profile. For urgent safety issues, email hello@formeapp.io directly.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Email hello@formeapp.io from the address on your account and we'll send you a portable copy of everything within 30 days, as required under GDPR.
02Community safety & reporting
Forme is a place to commit out loud to the people you trust. Content that harasses, threatens, sexualises minors, promotes self-harm, or otherwise violates our Terms is not allowed, and we act quickly when we find it.
How to report a check-in or user
- In the app, tap the “•••” on any check-in or profile and choose Report. Pick a reason. You can add a short note if it helps.
- By email, send details to hello@formeapp.io. Include a link or username if possible.
- Urgent safety, if someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then let us know.
Our response
- We review every report within 24 hours.
- We remove content that breaks our rules, and for serious or repeated violations we suspend or permanently ban the account.
- We acknowledge the reporter by email when the review is complete.
Block & mute
You can block any user directly from their profile. Blocked users can’t see your check-ins, mention you, or contact you. The action is silent, the other person isn’t notified. You can unblock at any time from Settings → Blocked users.
03Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Forme account and all the personal data tied to it, at any time. We'll erase everything within 30 days of the request.
From inside the app
Open your profile
Tap your avatar in the top-left of any main screen.
Open Settings
Tap the menu icon in the top-right of your profile to open the settings sheet.
Tap "Delete account"
It's at the bottom of the settings sheet.
Confirm
Re-enter your password and type DELETE to confirm. This protects against someone else deleting your account.
You're done
The account is scheduled for deletion. Data is permanently erased within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email.
By email
If you no longer have access to the app, email hello@formeapp.io from the address associated with your account. Include the username or email on the account. We'll confirm the request, process the deletion within 30 days, and email you when it's complete.
